Bereit.

About Bereit

An independent practice app for the Goethe-Zertifikat B2, made in Stuttgart by one person who wanted exam practice to come with real feedback.

What Bereit is

Bereit lets you practise all four modules of the Goethe-Zertifikat B2 the way the exam runs them. Lesen and Hören come with every answer explained and the line in the text that proves it. Schreiben and Sprechen are graded in seconds against the B2 criteria, with the level from A to E per criterion, the points, the mistakes found and a corrected version. Punkt, the blue dot, is the partner who asks the follow-up questions and argues the other side in the discussion. Full mock exams run with the real timing.

Bereit is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Goethe-Institut. Its scores are estimates to help you prepare, not official results.

Who makes it

Joel Mwaka, a software engineer in Stuttgart. Bereit started from a simple gap: you can find practice tests for the B2 exam, but not someone who tells you, against the real criteria, what your text or your talk would score and why. Bereit is built and run by him alone.
